An invitation to come to South Africa with Susan Doull and Commendable Travel
In 2024, it is South Africa, in the Kalahari Desert, the Cape and the Cape Winelands, plus the Okavango Delta and Savute, in beautiful Botswana. This is a Safari trip with a break for some of the best of the Cape, its art, food, wine, history, and culture. As currently planned, it is 16 days.

Our Southern Africa trip was was the trip of dreams with Constanza to set the mood and Tswalu to set the bar for luxurious travel in the bush…or in this case, the dessert. There are many highlights with certainly the experience at Jan Klein at the top and the many ways we experienced the extraordinary animals in Southern Africa: bathing and drinking, taking mud baths, nurturing their young. , dozing in the most unexpected places , even hunting and devouring their ‘kill’. We even saw the prelude to mating ,with a male and female lion seeking some privacy for themselves. This was a huge undertaking and your planning was flawless. Please let Herta know how much I enjoyed her. She is’ one in a million’ as they say; for natural glamour, attitude, life experiences and generosity to share those life experiences with others. Southern Africa 2023
After arriving in Johannesburg and exploring this business hub of South Africa we travel to the beautiful Kalahari for three nights.
Next stop, Cape Town one of the loveliest cities in South Africa where we will visit Franschhoek before flying to Botswana. We’ll stay in the Okavango Delta before travelling to Namibia.
Return to Johannesburg for flight home
