Beautiful and exclusive, in Namibia’s vast wilderness of the Skeleton Coast is the Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp. With eight twin-bedded tents kept in comfortable simplicity, Hoanib Camp is a stylish retreat in the midst of vast plains, rocky mountains, and endless desert skies. Provided meals, drinks, and laundry in addition to accommodation create a relaxed all-inclusive stay.

For the ultimate adventure-seeker, the camp is only accessible by light aircraft. Once arrived, enjoy the comforts of en-suite tented living with shaded decks and modern amenities for convenient enjoyment of the stunning scenery of the Kaokoveld Desert. Explore this remote area by vehicle to reveal gigantic sand dunes and desert-adapted wildlife.  A lucky sighting would be a family of Desert Elephants. It is remarkable that these creatures, who normally consume up to 600 lbs. of food and 50 gallons of water every day, can survive in this severe environment. Discovering the numerous other creatures that have adapted to their surroundings is one of the great surprises of this camp.

Weather-permitting, and on a stay of three nights (or more), flights to the Skeleton Coast are offered. This full-day excursion showcases the rocky coastline with its seal colony and shipwrecks. To reach the coast you will fly over massive dunefields, the Auses Spring and the Hoanib floodplains.
